Kerala SSLC Exam 2027: Expected Schedule and Release Timeline for Class 10 Date Sheet

The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan is preparing to release the official timetable for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examinations for the 2027 academic year. Students across the state are awaiting the announcement, which will provide the definitive schedule for the Class 10 board exams. Once the board finalizes the dates, the official document will be made available for download in PDF format on the official website at sslcexam.kerala.gov.in.

While an exact date for the release has not been confirmed, reports suggest that the Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan is likely to publish the exam schedule by the final week of October 2026. This timeline aligns with the board's historical practice of releasing subject-wise date sheets well before November, ensuring that the more than four lakh students expected to appear for the examinations have sufficient time to organize their study plans and preparation strategies.

Exam Format and Schedule Expectations

Based on the current projections, the Kerala SSLC board examinations for 2027 are expected to be conducted in March. The examinations will follow the traditional offline format, with papers held in a single morning shift. Each exam session is scheduled to commence at 9:30 AM, maintaining the standard procedure for state-level board assessments.

To support students in managing examination stress, the board will continue to provide a 15-minute cool-off period at the beginning of each paper. This designated time is intended to allow candidates to read through the question paper thoroughly, evaluate the requirements of each section, and strategically plan their responses before they begin writing. Students are advised to monitor the official portal, sslcexam.kerala.gov.in, regularly for the formal notification regarding the release of the date sheet.
