KLEE LLM 2026 Round 1 Counselling: Option Registration Deadline Today

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, is set to close the option registration window for the first round of KLEE LLM 2026 counselling today, October 22. Candidates who have qualified and appear on the KLEE rank list must complete their college preferences through the official portal at cee.kerala.gov.in by 5 PM.

This phase of the admission process is critical for students seeking entry into postgraduate law programmes. The registration window, which initially opened on October 1, 2026, has undergone two extensions to ensure that all eligible applicants have sufficient time to participate in the seat allocation process. Officials have advised candidates to finalize their choices promptly to avoid potential technical issues that may arise due to high traffic as the deadline approaches.

Completing the KLEE LLM Option Registration

To participate in the seat allotment, candidates are required to log in to the official CEE Kerala website using their application number and password. The choice-filling process allows students to rank their preferred colleges and courses, which will serve as the primary basis for the seat allocation conducted by the authorities. It is essential for applicants to review their selected options carefully before confirming their submission, as these preferences will determine the outcome of the first allotment round.

Once the registration window closes, the CEE will proceed to release the provisional and final allotment lists. While the registration and choice-filling stages are conducted entirely online, candidates should be prepared for the subsequent admission phase, which will involve in-person document verification. Applicants are advised to keep necessary documentation, including proof of date of birth, academic passing certificates, and other eligibility credentials, ready for the upcoming stages of the admission process.

Next Steps in the Admission Process

Following the conclusion of the option registration, the CEE will process the data to generate the seat allotment results. Candidates are encouraged to save a copy of their confirmed option list for their personal records. Further updates regarding the publication of the allotment lists and subsequent instructions for seat acceptance will be communicated through the official CEE Kerala website. Students should monitor the portal regularly for official notifications regarding the next steps in the KLEE 2026 counselling schedule.
