The Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2026 is scheduled to be conducted tomorrow. Organised by the Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA), this annual entrance examination serves as a gateway for students seeking admission into various postgraduate management and computer application programmes across institutions in Karnataka.
Candidates who have successfully registered for the examination are required to have their admit cards ready, as entry to the test is strictly contingent upon the possession of this document. With the examination taking place via a remote online proctored format, participants are encouraged to prepare their testing environment well in advance to avoid any technical disruptions.
The KMAT 2026 examination is divided into two distinct sessions based on the course applied for. The MCA examination is slated to commence at 10:00 AM and will conclude at 12:00 PM. Following this, the MBA examination will be held in the afternoon session, running from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM IST. Authorities have advised all candidates to log in or be available at least thirty minutes prior to their respective start times to facilitate a smooth verification process.
As this is a remote proctored exam, strict adherence to the official guidelines is mandatory to ensure the integrity of the assessment. Candidates must ensure they have their KMAT admit card and a valid government-issued photo identification proof on hand. Technical preparedness is equally critical; students should verify their internet connectivity, network stability, and hardware functionality before the exam begins. It is strictly prohibited to open additional windows on the computer during the test, and candidates must ensure they are alone in the room throughout the duration of the exam.
Furthermore, if a candidate intends to use a rough sheet for calculations, they must display it to the invigilator before use. The KPPGCA has emphasised the importance of academic honesty, urging students to refrain from any unfair practices. By carefully reviewing the provided instructions and maintaining a calm approach, candidates can ensure they are fully prepared to complete their paper successfully.
