Maharashtra Board Announces HSC and SSC Exam Dates for 2027

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has officially announced the examination schedule for the 2027 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and Secondary School Certificate (SSC) board exams. Students preparing for these upcoming assessments can now align their study plans with the confirmed dates released by the board.

According to the official notification, the HSC examinations are scheduled to take place from February 8 to March 16, 2027. Meanwhile, the SSC examinations are set to be conducted between February 15 and March 11, 2027. These examinations will be held across the nine divisional boards of the state, including Pune, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur, and Konkan.

Practical Evaluations and Upcoming Schedule Details

In addition to the theory papers, the board has outlined the timeline for practical, graded, oral, and internal assessments. For HSC students, these evaluations are scheduled to occur from January 20 to February 6, 2027. SSC students will undergo their respective practical and internal assessments between January 28 and February 13, 2027.

While the primary dates have been confirmed, the board has indicated that a comprehensive, subject-wise timetable will be made available to the public in the near future. Students are advised to keep a close watch on official communications for the release of the detailed schedule. Furthermore, the board plans to issue admit cards for all eligible candidates in January 2027, which will be a mandatory document for appearing in the examinations.

The Maharashtra board exams are conducted in a traditional pen-and-paper format.
