The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has officially released the round 1 merit list for NEET PG 2026, marking a significant step in the state's postgraduate medical admission process. This list identifies the candidates eligible for admission into various MD, MS, and Diploma programmes offered by medical colleges across the state.
Candidates who participated in the registration process can now access the merit list PDF directly through the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org. The document provides essential information for applicants, including their Maharashtra State rank, name, NEET PG roll number, eligible category, domicile status, and NEET percentile. Alongside the merit list, the CET Cell has also made the list of successfully registered candidates available for public view on the same portal.
Following the publication of the round 1 merit list, the authorities have established a formal window for candidates to address any discrepancies. Students who identify errors or have concerns regarding their status in the merit list are permitted to submit grievances between October 30 and November 1, 2026. It is essential for applicants to review their details thoroughly during this period to ensure their information is accurately reflected.
Once the grievance submission period concludes, the CET Cell will proceed with the next phase of the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). The final merit list, the in-service state merit list, and the seat matrix for round 1 are scheduled to be released on November 2, 2026. Candidates are advised to monitor the official website regularly for these updates, as they will dictate the subsequent steps in the seat allocation process for postgraduate medical studies in Maharashtra.
