The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is set to conclude the choice filling process for Round 1 of the NEET UG Counselling 2026 today. Candidates are urged to complete the choice-locking procedure on the official MCC website before the deadline. This round of choice filling has been open from August 7 to August 13, 2026, and the choice locking facility will soon be unavailable. Following this, the seat allotment processing is scheduled to take place from August 13 to August 16, 2026.

As the NEET UG exam has already taken place on June 21, candidates can now access their exam center details through the recently released admit cards. In the event that candidates do not secure a seat in the second round of counselling, they will retain their previously allotted seat from Round 1.
