The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, is set to conclude the online choice-filling process for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Round 1 for BSc Nursing admissions today. Candidates who have qualified and are featured on the final merit list must submit their preferred college and programme selections through the official portal before the deadline.
This phase is a critical step for students seeking admission into nursing institutions across the state. To be considered for seat allocation in this round, applicants are required to log in and lock their preferences by 5:30 PM today, September 14, 2026. Officials have advised students to thoroughly review the available seat matrix before finalising their choices to ensure their selections align with their academic goals.
Following the closure of the choice-filling window, the system will automatically lock all submitted preferences. The State CET Cell will then proceed with the data processing to determine seat assignments. The official seat allotment result for CAP Round 1 is scheduled to be declared on September 15, 2026.
Once the results are published, candidates who are successfully allotted a seat must complete the physical reporting process. This involves visiting the designated college to verify original documents and pay the required admission fees. The window for this physical reporting period is set from September 16, 2026, through September 20, 2026, with a final cutoff time of 5:30 PM on the last day. It is essential for students to adhere to these timelines to secure their admission, as failure to report within the specified period may impact their candidacy.
