The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has officially commenced the choice-filling process for the third round of the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for the 5-Year LLB program. Candidates who have qualified for the MH CET Law 2026 and are seeking admission to law colleges across the state can now log in to their candidate portals to select their preferred institutions.
This phase of the admission process is critical for students who have not yet secured a seat in previous rounds or those who are participating in the counselling process for the first time. The window for submitting college preferences remains open from September 3 to September 5. It is essential for applicants to review the available seat vacancy list for Round 3 before finalizing their choices to ensure their strategy aligns with current seat availability.
In addition to the choice-filling process, the State CET Cell has provided a window for candidates who have not previously registered for the counselling process. CET-qualified students who missed earlier opportunities can complete their registration for Round 3 and the subsequent institutional-level round until September 5. This extension allows both new registrants and those who previously participated to edit their preferences or enroll for the current round.
Following the conclusion of the registration and choice-filling period, the authorities are scheduled to release the alphabetical merit list for Round 3 on September 8. Candidates are advised to monitor the official portal closely for updates regarding the merit list and subsequent seat allotment results. By participating in this round, students have a fresh opportunity to secure admission to their preferred law colleges within the state, provided they adhere to the stipulated timelines set by the examination board.
