The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has officially commenced the college option form filling for the MH CET 3 Year Law CAP Round 2 today, August 24, 2026. This process allows candidates to select and prioritize colleges offering three-year LLB courses based on their preferences. The college option form filling for the three-year LLB program will remain open until August 26, 2026. During this period, candidates are encouraged to carefully choose their preferred colleges, as seat allocations will be based on these selections. The CET Cell has also released a comprehensive schedule for the MH CET 3 Year LLB Counselling, which outlines important dates and procedures for candidates.

Following the completion of the college option form filling, the Round 2 seat allocation results will be announced on August 29, 2026, at 5 PM. Candidates will need to log in to the candidate portal using their registered email address and password to check their results. The subsequent steps include reporting to the allotted colleges and seeking admission from August 31 to September 2, 2026, with colleges required to upload the details of admitted candidates by September 3, 2026.

Additionally, the CAP schedule indicates that registration for unregistered CET-qualified candidates for Round 3 and the Institute Level Round will remain open until September 5, 2026. The entire counselling process is primarily conducted online, encompassing registration, document uploads, choice filling, and seat allotment, although some physical document verification may be required later in the process.

For candidates who are not satisfied with their seat allotment in Round 2, there are options to participate in subsequent counselling rounds or withdraw from the process, albeit with a withdrawal fee.
