MH CET Law 2026: Round 3 Alphabetical Merit List Released

The Maharashtra State CET Cell has officially released the alphabetical merit list for the 5-year LLB Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Round 3 today, September 8, 2026. Candidates who have registered for the third round of counselling, as well as those participating in the Institutional Level Round, can now access the list through the official admission portal at llb5cap26.mahacet.org.

This alphabetical list serves as a preliminary document containing the details of all registered applicants, organised by name. It is designed to provide students with an opportunity to verify their personal information, category status, and document verification details to ensure accuracy before the final merit list is compiled. The release covers various categories, including MS, OMS, J&K, and those marked as 'Not Considered'.

Verification and Grievance Process

It is essential for all candidates to carefully review the published list to confirm that their application details, such as name, category, and document status, are correct. If any discrepancies are identified, the CET Cell has provided a specific window for corrections. According to the revised admission schedule, the grievance resolution and document upload facility will be active from September 9 to September 10, 2026. During this period, candidates are encouraged to flag any errors to ensure their records are updated correctly.

Following the grievance period, the authorities will process the feedback to finalise the merit list. The final merit list for Round 3 is scheduled for publication on September 16, 2026. This will be followed by the declaration of seat allocation results on September 18, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Students who are allotted seats in this round will be required to report to their respective colleges to complete the admission confirmation process between September 19 and September 23, 2026.

Once on the portal, users should navigate to the notifications section to locate the link for the CAP Round 3 alphabetical merit list. From there, candidates can select the link corresponding to their specific category—such as MS or OMS—to search for their name or application number. It is recommended that students download the PDF version of the list for their personal records and future reference throughout the remainder of the admission process.
