The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) in Madhya Pradesh has announced revised dates for the first round of NEET UG Counselling 2026. According to the updated schedule, the seat allotment results for the state quota will be released on August 24, 2026. This adjustment comes in response to changes in the All India Quota (AIQ) counselling timeline, as outlined by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

Candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS programs under the 85% state quota in Madhya Pradesh are urged to adhere to the new timelines for completing their admission formalities. Following the announcement of the allotment results, students will have the opportunity to report to their designated colleges from August 25 to August 30, 2026, for document verification and final admission procedures.

The DME has provided a detailed timeline for the upcoming events related to the first round of counselling. In addition to the seat allotment results on August 24, candidates can also exercise the option for upgradation during the admission period from August 25 to September 3, 2026. Furthermore, online resignation or cancellation of admission at the college level will also be permitted during this timeframe.

To access their allotment letters, candidates should visit the official DME MP counselling website. They will need to navigate to the MP UG NEET Counselling 2026 portal, select the Round 1 Seat Allotment Result, and log in using their NEET roll number and password. Once logged in, they can download and print their allotment letters for reporting to their respective colleges.

The seat allotment for MP NEET will be determined based on several factors, including the candidates' NEET UG 2026 ranks, state merit positions, reservation categories, and the choices they have filled in, along with the availability of seats. Students are encouraged to stay informed about the latest updates regarding education news, exam results, and admission schedules to ensure a smooth transition into their medical education.
