Candidates aiming to secure a postgraduate dental seat in this round must adhere to the timeline provided by the MCC. The process is set to commence with the verification of the tentative seat matrix by participating institutions on September 14, 2026, setting the stage for the registration window to open the following day.
Registration for the second round of counselling is scheduled to begin on September 15, 2026, and will remain open until September 19. Candidates are required to complete their registration and payment through the official MCC website. The payment facility will be accessible until 6:00 PM on the final day of registration, September 19.
Following the registration phase, the choice-filling process will open on September 16. During this period, applicants can submit their preferences for specific MDS courses and colleges. The window for choice filling will close at 10:00 AM on September 20, 2026. It is important to note that the choice-locking facility will be available starting from 4:00 PM on September 19 until 10:00 AM on September 20.
Once the choice-filling process concludes, the MCC will proceed with the seat allotment phase, which is scheduled to take place between September 21 and September 22. The official results for the round 2 seat allotment are slated for release on September 23, 2026.
Candidates who are successfully allotted a seat in this round will be required to report to their respective colleges for admission and document verification between September 24 and September 30, 2026.
