NEET PG 2026 Round 2 Counselling Registration Opens at mcc.nic.in

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially opened the registration window for the second round of NEET PG 2026 counselling. Candidates seeking admission to MD and MS programmes under the 50% All India Quota (AIQ) can now submit their applications through the official website at mcc.nic.in.

This phase of the counselling process is open to all candidates who successfully qualified for the NEET PG 2026 examination. In addition to All India Quota seats, the counselling process covers admissions to Deemed Universities, Central Universities, and various State Quota seats. The MCC recently adjusted the timeline for the counselling process to accommodate the release of the seat matrix for newly approved seats, ensuring that the second round reflects the most current availability.

Following the registration phase, candidates are required to proceed with the choice filling and locking process. This step is critical for seat allocation, as only those who finalise their preferences within the designated timeframe will be considered for the subsequent seat allotment results. The deadline for completing the choice filling and locking process for the second round is November 12, 2026.
