NTA Announces UGC NET December 2026 Exam Schedule

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the examination schedule for the upcoming UGC NET December 2026 session. According to the latest notification, the examination is set to be conducted over a six-day period, starting from December 14 and concluding on December 19, 2026. This assessment serves as a critical gateway for candidates aiming to qualify for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) positions, secure appointments as Assistant Professors, or gain admission into various PhD programmes.

The examination will be held in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format. Candidates are required to appear for the test specifically on the date and during the shift assigned to them in their official documentation. To ensure flexibility in the examination process, the NTA has also designated December 20 and December 21, 2026, as buffer dates.
