Odisha NEET UG 2026: Round 2 Reporting and Admission Process Begins

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) has officially initiated the reporting phase for the second round of the NEET UG 2026 counselling process. This stage is critical for students who have been allotted MBBS and BDS seats under the state quota, as it marks the formal commencement of the provisional admission procedure.

Candidates who have secured a seat in this round are required to complete their provisional admission by reporting in person to the OJEE Cell located at Gandamunda, Bhubaneswar. This mandatory physical reporting must be completed within the notified dates and times to ensure the seat allotment remains valid.

Reporting Guidelines and Documentation Requirements

To successfully complete the admission process, candidates must be prepared to pay the requisite admission fees, which vary depending on the type of college allotted. Payments can be made through the prescribed online modes or via demand draft, as specified in the official guidelines. During the reporting session, students are also required to exercise their choice of either a Freeze or Float option to indicate their preference regarding the allotted seat.

A comprehensive set of original documents is mandatory for verification. Candidates must present their Class 10 certificate for date-of-birth verification, along with their Class 12 marksheet and certificate. Additionally, the NEET UG 2026 rank card and a recent photograph are required. For students claiming specific categories, valid original certificates for SC, ST, SEBC, GC, or EWS status must be produced. Furthermore, candidates must submit a duly prepared and signed bond, along with their Odisha nativity or residence certificate. Consequences of Non-Compliance

The OJEE authorities have emphasized that failure to complete the reporting process and the associated formalities will result in the forfeiture of the allotted seat. Any seat that remains unconfirmed after the designated reporting period will be classified as vacant and may be made available for subsequent rounds of the counselling process.
