Among the government medical colleges, SCB Medical College in Cuttack has the highest number of vacancies, with 81 seats currently available. Other government institutions with reported vacancies include MKCG Medical College in Berhampur with 18 seats, VIMSAR Burla with 11 seats, SLN Medical College in Koraput with 10 seats, and PMPMC Talcher with 7 seats. In the private sector, Hi-Tech Medical College in Bhubaneswar leads with 89 vacancies, followed by DRIEMS Cuttack with 81 seats and Hi-Tech Medical College in Rourkela with 34 seats.
