The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has officially released the examination form schedule for Class 10 and Class 12 regular students. These forms are intended for the board examinations scheduled to take place in February and March 2027. Educational institutions are now required to initiate the registration process and ensure all necessary documentation and fees are submitted according to the board's specified timeline.
The responsibility for managing the examination form process lies with the respective schools and educational institutions. Administrators must access their official PSEB login credentials to complete the registration for their students. The board has emphasized the importance of adhering to these deadlines, noting that school heads will be held accountable for ensuring that all eligible students are successfully registered for the upcoming board exams.
The board has established a structured timeline for the submission of forms and the payment of fees, which includes several windows for those who may miss the initial deadline. For the regular fee window, schools can generate fee challans from October 5 to October 23, 2026. The final date for the online submission of forms and fees is October 23, 2026, with the corresponding bank payments to be completed by October 29, 2026.
Following the regular period, the board has provided multiple opportunities for late submissions, each incurring an additional fee. A late fee of INR 500 applies for the window between October 24 and October 31, 2026. Subsequent late fee windows are available through November 2026, with penalties increasing to INR 1,000, INR 1,500, and up to INR 2,000 for the final submission period ending on November 26, 2026.
Regarding the examination costs, the board has set the fee at INR 2,000 for Class 10 students and INR 2,450 for Class 12 students. Students opting for an additional subject are required to pay an extra fee of INR 550 per subject. These amounts cover the costs associated with both digital and hard copies of examination-related documents.
It is important for students and parents to note that the current announcement pertains strictly to the examination form and fee submission process. The Punjab School Education Board has not yet released the final, subject-wise date sheet for the 2027 examinations. The detailed timetable, which will outline specific exam dates and session timings, is expected to be issued by the board in a separate notification at a later date.
Schools are urged to monitor the official PSEB portal regularly to ensure all administrative requirements are met within the prescribed timeframes. By completing these formalities early, institutions can avoid the late fee penalties and ensure that all eligible students are prepared for the upcoming academic assessment period.
