Under the Centralised Employment Notification (CEN) No. 07/2026, the board aims to fill 1,688 tentative vacancies across various regions. This recruitment drive is specifically designed for candidates who have completed their undergraduate-level education and are looking to join the railway sector in roles categorized under Pay Level 2 and Pay Level 3 of the 7th Central Pay Commission.

Candidates are required to submit their completed forms by the closing date of November 13, 2026, at 11:59 PM. The current recruitment drive includes several distinct roles within the railway administration. According to the short notice, the 1,688 vacancies are distributed among positions such as Commercial cum Ticket Clerk (CCTC), which accounts for 700 openings, and Junior Clerk cum Typist, with 600 vacancies. Additionally, there are 200 positions for Accounts Clerk cum Typist and 188 vacancies for Trains Clerk (Traffic). These roles are integral to the operational and administrative functions of the railway network.

To streamline the application process and minimize potential delays during the document verification stages, the RRB has strongly advised candidates to utilize Aadhaar-based authentication. Applicants should ensure that the personal details recorded in their Aadhaar profile—specifically their full name and date of birth—align perfectly with the information provided in their Class 10 pass certificate. Furthermore, candidates are encouraged to update their biometric information, including fingerprints and iris scans, and ensure their latest photograph is linked to their Aadhaar account before initiating the online application process.
