SSC CGL Tier 1 Admit Card 2026 Released for September 30 and October 1 Exams

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the admit cards for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 examination scheduled for September 30 and October 1, 2026. Candidates who are registered to appear for these specific dates can now access and download their hall tickets through the commission's official website at ssc.gov.in.

To retrieve their admit cards, candidates are required to log in to the portal using their registered username and password. The commission has advised candidates to navigate to the admit card section on the website, select their respective regional portal, and follow the provided links to access their examination documents. Once the hall ticket appears on the screen, it should be downloaded and saved for future reference.

Exam Schedule and Admit Card Release Process

The SSC CGL Tier 1 examination is being conducted in a Computer-Based Examination (CBE) format, with the testing window spanning from September 30 to October 30, 2026. The commission is following a staggered release schedule for hall tickets, typically making them available to candidates two to three days prior to their specific examination date. For instance, admit cards for the October 3 examination are anticipated to be released on September 30.

With approximately 28,52,665 candidates expected to participate in this year's Tier 1 examination, the commission is managing a significant recruitment drive. The current selection process aims to fill 10,731 vacancies across various Group B and Group C positions. As part of the mandatory examination protocols, all candidates are required to carry a printed copy of their admit card along with a valid government-issued photo identification document to their designated exam centre on the day of the test.
