SSC CGL Tier 1 Answer Key 2026: Expected Release Date and Download Process

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is set to conclude the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 examination today, October 30, 2026. Following the completion of the month-long testing period, which began on September 30, 2026, candidates are now awaiting the release of the provisional answer key to evaluate their performance.

While the commission has not issued a formal notification regarding the exact date, the provisional answer key is tentatively expected to be released between November 4 and November 6, 2026. This timeline is based on an analysis of previous examination cycles conducted by the commission.

Provisional Answer Key and Objection Process

Once the provisional answer key is made available on the official website, ssc.gov.in, candidates will have the opportunity to review their responses against the official keys provided by the commission. This phase is critical as it allows participants to identify any discrepancies or errors in the published answers.

The commission typically provides a dedicated window of three to five days for candidates to submit formal objections. Any challenges raised by the candidates will be reviewed by the commission before the final answer key is prepared. It is important to note that the final answer key is released only after the declaration of the Tier 1 results. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 10,731 vacancies across various Group B and Group C posts.

How to Access the Answer Key

Candidates can download their response sheets and the provisional answer key by following a straightforward process on the official portal. To access the documents, candidates must visit ssc.gov.in and navigate to the login section. After entering their registered OTR number and password, users should proceed to the Exam Dashboard or the specific Answer Key section.

Once inside the dashboard, a link labeled for the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) 2026 Tier 1 Provisional Answer Key will be available. Clicking the view button will allow candidates to download the PDF containing the answer key and their individual response sheets. Candidates are advised to keep their login credentials secure and monitor the official website regularly for the formal announcement of the release date.
