The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the tentative answer key for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 Examination 2026. Candidates who participated in the examination, which was conducted between September 30 and October 28, 2026, can now access their response sheets and the provisional answer keys through the commission's official website at ssc.gov.in.
The release of these documents allows candidates to review their performance by comparing their recorded responses against the official answers provided by the commission. This transparency is a standard part of the recruitment process, enabling applicants to estimate their potential scores before the final results are declared.
To view the answer key and download their individual response sheets, candidates are required to log in to the official SSC candidate portal. Access is granted using the registration number and password generated during the initial application process. Once logged in, candidates should navigate to the specific link provided for the Combined Graduate Level Examination 2026 (Tier 1) to view the relevant documents.
It is recommended that candidates download and save a copy of their response sheet and the tentative answer key for their personal records. These documents serve as the primary reference for any discrepancies that a candidate may wish to report to the commission.
The commission has simultaneously opened an online objection window for candidates who identify errors or have concerns regarding the tentative answers. This facility is available starting from November 4, 2026, at 9 PM. The deadline for submitting any such representations is November 7, 2026, at 9 PM.
Candidates wishing to challenge any question or answer must do so exclusively through the official online challenge module. A fee of INR 50 is applicable for each question or answer challenged. The commission has explicitly stated that no representations will be accepted through any other mode of communication, such as email or post. Furthermore, any objections submitted after the specified deadline of 9 PM on November 7, 2026, will not be taken into consideration by the examination authorities.
