The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, has officially confirmed the release date for the Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) Plus 2 results for the 2027 academic year. Students who participated in the board examinations can expect their results to be declared on May 7, 2027.
This announcement follows the earlier release of the 2027 board examination timetable by the state education authorities. The results will be made available through the official websites, providing a centralized platform for students to access their performance records once the download links are activated.
According to the official notification, the DGE is expected to activate the result download links on the afternoon of May 7, 2027. Students will be able to retrieve their scorecards by visiting the official websites at tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in. To access the results, candidates will need to provide their registration number and date of birth as specified in their examination admit cards.
In addition to the primary web portals, the board has indicated that students will have multiple avenues to check their results. Alternative methods for accessing the 2027 HSE Plus 2 outcomes include SMS services and the DigiLocker platform, ensuring that students have reliable access to their academic results.
The 2027 board examination cycle for Tamil Nadu students was conducted earlier this year, with the Class 12 exams taking place from March 3 to March 29. These examinations are a critical milestone for students transitioning to higher education, and the upcoming result declaration marks the conclusion of the assessment process for the current academic session.
