Candidates participating in the Telangana NEET 2026 undergraduate medical admission process have until tomorrow, October 14, to complete their web option entries for the mop-up counselling round. The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has set a firm deadline of 5 PM for students to submit their preferences for available MBBS seats.
This phase of the counselling process is critical for eligible candidates seeking admission to medical colleges across the state. Before finalizing their choices, applicants are strongly encouraged to review the official seat matrix, which details the current vacancies. The university has made this information accessible via the official portal to ensure students can make informed decisions regarding their preferred institutions.
To participate in the mop-up round, candidates must log in to the official KNRUHS website and submit their choices through the designated web options link. It is essential for students to verify the seat matrix PDF thoroughly before locking in their selections to avoid any errors in the application process.
Successful admission is contingent upon the verification of specific documents. Candidates should ensure they have the necessary paperwork ready for the subsequent stages of the process. Required documentation includes the NEET UG 2026 scorecard, birth certificate or 10th-grade marks memo, and the Intermediate or 10+2 marks memo. Additionally, students must provide study certificates for classes 9 and 10, a transfer certificate, and an Aadhar card.
For candidates belonging to specific categories, additional certificates are mandatory. This includes community certificates, minority certificates for Muslim candidates issued by the relevant welfare department, and income and asset certificates for those applying under the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category. Furthermore, applicants claiming seats under special quotas—such as the National Cadet Corps (NCC), Children of Armed Personnel (CAP), Police Martyrs Children (PMC), or Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL)—must present valid, up-to-date certificates to support their claims. A recent passport-size photograph is also required to complete the submission requirements.
