The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) in Telangana has officially launched the counselling process for the TG ICET 2026, commencing with the phase 1 slot booking. Eligible candidates are now invited to secure their slots for the TS ICET certificate verification, a crucial step in the admission process for various postgraduate courses in the state.

The slot booking for the first phase of TG ICET counselling is available on the official website, tgicet.nic.in. This phase is particularly significant as it marks the beginning of the admissions process, which will see certificate verification conducted from August 1 to August 5 at over 20 designated helpline centres across Telangana. Candidates must ensure they complete this verification to proceed with their admissions.

Before booking a slot, candidates are required to pay a processing fee of INR 1200, with a reduced fee of INR 600 applicable for those in reserved categories. This fee must be settled prior to booking a slot, as only those who have completed the payment will be permitted to proceed with the verification process. It is essential for candidates to adhere to the scheduled timings for their respective slots to ensure a smooth verification experience.

To facilitate the slot booking, candidates can access a dedicated login portal using their hall ticket number, registration number, date of birth, and captcha verification.
