BITS Pilani Leads List in NIRF Ranking
BITS Pilani shine as the highest-ranked institute after excluding top IIT. It secured 11th position in the NIRF 2025 Engineering ranking with a score of 67.02. The institute is located in Pilani, Rajasthan.
SRM Institute of Science and Technology follows at Rank 14, with a score of 65.83, while Vellore Institute of Technology secured Rank 16 with a score of 65.25. Both institutes are located in Tamil Nadu. Jadavpur University, Kolkata, secured Rank 18 with a score of 64.54. Anna University in Chennai was placed at Rank 20, scoring 63.51.
Institutes Ranked Among Top 30: NIRF 2025 Ranking
Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan and Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham secured Ranks 22 and 23, respectively, while Jamia Millia Islamia was placed at Rank 24. Their NIRF scores were 62.58, 62.46 and 62.42, respectively.
Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology secured Rank 29 with a score of 60.97, followed by Delhi Technological University at Rank 30 with a score of 60.85. Both feature among the top 30 institutes in the overall NIRF 2025 Engineering ranking.
