The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has officially announced the schedule for the TS LAWCET 2026 spot round counselling. This phase is designed to fill remaining, vacant, or cancelled seats across private unaided law colleges in the state. The process covers admissions for 3-year LL.B, 5-year LL.B, and LL.M programmes, providing a final opportunity for candidates to secure a seat for the current academic year.
The institutional spot admission process is set to begin on October 3, 2026, with the publication of college-wise vacancy details. Following this, individual institutions are required to release their specific spot admission notifications no later than October 5, 2026. Prospective students should monitor the websites of their preferred colleges, as registration for the spot round will be conducted through individual college links starting from October 6, 2026.
Participation in the spot round is restricted to eligible candidates who meet the necessary criteria. Students who have already completed their registration and certificate verification under the Convener Quota are eligible to participate directly in the spot registration process. For those who have not yet completed the certificate verification process, the window to register and upload the required documentation will open on October 5, 2026.
The merit list for these spot admissions will be prepared based on the candidates' TS LAWCET or PGLCET 2026 ranks. It is essential for applicants to note that fee reimbursement benefits are not applicable to students admitted through the institutional spot admission process. Upon selection, candidates must report to their respective colleges within the designated timeframe and complete the payment of tuition fees. Failure to adhere to these reporting and payment deadlines will result in the automatic cancellation of the admission offer.
When reporting to their allotted colleges, candidates are required to present all original certificates for verification. Additionally, students must submit two sets of photocopies of their documents, along with their original Transfer Certificate (TC). As the process is managed at the institutional level, students are advised to stay updated with the specific notifications issued by the colleges they are interested in, as these will contain the most accurate information regarding seat availability and local admission procedures.
