UP NEET UG 2026 Round 3 Merit List Released; Choice Filling Process Begins

The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh, has officially released the round 3 merit list for the NEET UG 2026 counselling process. This announcement marks a significant step for students seeking admission into MBBS and BDS programmes across the state, as the merit list serves as the foundation for the upcoming seat allocation phase.

Candidates who have successfully completed their registration, fee payment, and all other mandatory formalities are now eligible to view the merit list. The document is available for download on the official website, upneet.gov.in. Applicants are advised to verify their status by accessing the portal and using the search function to locate their specific roll numbers within the published list.

Choice Filling and Seat Allotment Schedule

Following the publication of the merit list, the DGME has opened the window for online choice filling. This critical stage allows students to select their preferred medical and dental colleges and arrange them according to their personal priorities. It is essential for candidates to review the instructions provided on the official portal carefully before finalising their selections to ensure their preferences are accurately recorded.

The deadline for completing the choice filling process is October 31, 2026. To participate, candidates must log in to the official counselling portal using their registration number, password, and the provided security code. Once the preferred courses and institutions have been selected and organised, students must save their choices and complete the process by verifying their selection through an OTP. Following the conclusion of this phase, the official seat allotment results for round 3 are scheduled to be released on November 2, 2026.
