GGSIPU is a prominent State University that has received an A++ Grade from NACC, with a CGPA of 3.56 on a four-point scale. In the QS Asia University Rankings (Regional), the University is positioned at 258, while in the subject category, it falls within the 401–450 band. In the NIRF 2025 ranking under the 'University' category, it achieved the 93rd position.
• Placements: As the overall placement report for GGSIPU Delhi is still pending, the 2025 placement report for the University School of Information, Communication & Technology (USICT) and the University School of Automation & Robotics (USAR) may provide significant insights regarding placements in 2025. During the placement drive, the average salary packages offered for USICT and USAR were INR 6.69 LPA and INR 6.11 LPA, respectively.
• Popular courses: Some of the well-known courses at GGSIPU include BTech, MBA, Integrated Law (BA LLB/ BBA LLB), etc. Admission to the BTech programme is entirely merit-based and depends on candidates' performance in the JEE Main entrance exam.
• Accepted Exams: For BTech Biotechnology, BTech Lateral Entry for Diploma Holders, and BTech Lateral Entry for BSc Graduates, JEE Main is not applicable, and admission will be based on the Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU CET). For most courses, the university-level CET entrance exam is accepted. The University also recognizes several national-level entrance exams, such as NEET UG, NATA, CLAT, NCET, etc.
• Fees: BTech fees range from INR 2.3 lakh (CSE offered via Delhi Institute of Technology and Management) to INR 7.9 lakh (Biotechnology offered by GGSIPU). For the MBA programme, the tuition fee varies from INR 1.5 lakh (IT offered via CDAC) to INR 4.4 lakh (offered via Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology).
• Scholarship: GGSIPU provides various scholarship schemes/financial assistance to economically disadvantaged students. Some of the scholarships available at the University include the Nirmal Gopal Memorial Award, Financial Assistance to SC for pursuing Higher Studies Abroad, and the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC students, etc.
  

• Online/ Distance education: GGSIPU offers online courses, including MCA, BBA, BCom, MCA, & MAMC. A student can enroll in 2 courses, one in full-time physical mode & another in Open & Distance Learning/ Online mode; or up to 2 ODL/ Online courses simultaneously.
