NSUT Application Process 2026

For admissions to courses at Netaji Subhas University of Technology, excluding BTech, MBA, and BArch, students must complete the application form on the university’s official website and pay the necessary application fee for final submission. The application fees for BTech (Lateral Entry) and PG courses are INR 1,500.

• For BTech/BArch, candidates must register for JEE Main on the official NTA website.
• For MBA and BBA (Hons), applicants need to register for any of the accepted entrance exams followed by CMAC (Common Management Admission Committee). The registration fee is INR 1,500 plus a transaction fee for each MBA and BBA application.

NSUT Selection Criteria 2026

Admissions to NSUT are entirely based on entrance exam results. The university admits students through various national and university-level entrance exams, such as CUET-UG, CAT, and JEE Main for different programs. Students with valid scores in these exams will be shortlisted for the counseling process. Below are the course-wise selection criteria:

• For BTech/BArch, candidates must qualify in JEE Main/JEE Main Paper-II.
• The selection for MBA is based on CAT or MAT scores. For BBA, candidates must have CUET-UG scores.
• CUET-PG scores are used for admission to MA and MSc courses. Candidates need GATE scores for MTech admission. Non-GATE applicants must take a written test conducted by the university for admission.
• In BDes, priority is given to candidates with UCEED scores, followed by scores from national-level design entrance exams. The third priority is for students with ranks in state-level design entrance examinations.
• Candidates must take the Common Entrance Examination conducted by NSUT for lateral entry into the BTech program.

Merit List

Counselling

Candidates must apply and participate in JAC Delhi Counselling for the BTech/BArch program. They must achieve a score equal to or above the NSUT cutoff for admission. In the Round-1 cutoff of 2026, the most competitive rank for CSE (AI) was 4133, followed by 8540 for Computer Engineering.

• For MBA and BBA, candidates must apply and participate in the Common Management Admission Committee (CMAC) process.
• For all other courses, candidates need to engage in university-level counseling. The university publishes a list of vacant seats after each round of counseling.

NSUT Final Seat Allotment 2026

After the counseling process concludes, seats are allocated to students based on their entrance exam ranks. For BTech/BArch/MBA/BBA, seat allotment is conducted region-wise. 85% of seats in all participating institutes are reserved for candidates from the Delhi Region, while 15% are for candidates from outside Delhi. Candidates must report to the campus for document verification and fee payment.

• Online created registration form duly signed by guardian/parent and candidate
• Printout of filled choices (printed after the closing of registration)

• Printout of admit card and scorecard of JEE Main
