The admission process for Guru Nanak Dev University in 2024 is primarily based on entrance exams for most programs. Located in Punjab, Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) is a state-level institution. It comprises five departments: Engineering & Technology, Punjabi, Law, Journalism & Mass Communication, and Research & Development.
These five departments together offer a total of seven UGC-approved courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. Admission to the undergraduate BTech program is determined by the scores achieved in the JEE main exam. GNDU, Jalandhar, conducts a counseling session for each course to allocate seats based on candidates' performance in qualifying exams and their chosen specializations.
Situated in Jalandhar, GNDU has been ranked 3rd and 55th among the top universities in Punjab and India, respectively, according to NIRF 2019. The admission process at GNDU begins every June.
