UG Course Admission Process
At Nizam College, UG course admissions are processed through the Degree Online Services, Telangana (DOST) portal. Below are the detailed steps for registering for admission on this portal:
Step 1: Pre-registration
Pre-registration is necessary for generating a DOST-ID. This ID can be created in three ways: via the website, DOST-App, or MeeSeva. This step also includes verifying the user's identity. Candidates must accurately fill in their basic details to prevent any unforeseen issues.
Step 2: Payment of Registration Fee
Candidates are required to pay the registration fee to validate their application for admission. The total fee is INR 425, which includes a student registration fee of INR 400 and INR 25 for the Haritha Nidhi Fund. This additional amount is collected as mandated by government regulations.
Step 3: Application and Web Options
After the fee payment, candidates must complete the application form. To fill out the form, candidates need to log in to the official website using their credentials. They can edit, update, and save the application as needed. Once the application is submitted, candidates can access web options and proceed further.
Step 4: Seat Allotment and Course Fee Payment
Seats are allocated through this portal based on merit. After all candidates have applied, a merit list is prepared, and seat allotment is conducted accordingly. Candidates who are satisfied with their assigned college must pay the fees to secure their seat.
Step 5: Document Submission at College
Candidates must report to their assigned college with all necessary documents and fee receipts. The college will confirm the seat after verifying the documents.
PG Course Admission Process
PG course admissions are conducted through TG CPGET and ICET (for MBA and MCA). CPGET is an entrance exam organized by Kakatiya University. Below are the detailed steps to follow for admission to PG courses (excluding MBA and MCA) at Nizam College through TG CPGET:

Step 2: Registration and Fee Payment
For registration, candidates must fill in their basic details and pay the required fees. The fee amount depends on the number of entrance exams the candidate intends to take. After registration, candidates will receive a Registration ID, which should be kept for future reference.
Step 3: Application Form
Candidates must log in to the official website of Kakatiya University using the login details generated during registration. After logging in, candidates should fill in all information carefully. Providing incorrect or misleading information may result in the cancellation of admission. Candidates should keep a printout of this form for future reference.
Step 4: Hall Ticket
The college releases hall tickets on the official website for entrance test dates and schedules. Candidates are advised to check the website at least once a week. Once the hall ticket is available, students must download it and attach a passport-sized photograph.
Note: Hall tickets without a photograph will not be accepted.
Step 5: Entrance Test
Candidates should accurately note the date and time of the entrance test from the hall ticket. The entrance test duration for all subjects is 90 minutes, consisting of a total of 100 questions. The minimum cutoff for candidates other than SC/ST is 25%, while there is no minimum cutoff for SC/ST candidates.
