The Department of Ayush, Madhya Pradesh, has officially initiated the choice filling process for the stray vacancy round of the 2026 undergraduate counselling cycle. Starting today, November 8, 2026, candidates who have qualified for the NEET UG examination are invited to participate in the selection process for vacant seats across various BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS programs.
This phase of the counselling process is critical for students seeking admission into government and private medical institutes within the state. Participants are required to log in to the official portal to edit, fill, and lock their preferred college choices. It is essential for applicants to complete these steps within the designated timeframe to be considered for the subsequent seat allotment.
The window for choice filling and locking will remain active until November 11, 2026. Candidates are advised to finalise their preferences well before the deadline to avoid any last-minute technical issues. Following the conclusion of the preference submission period, the authorities will process the data to generate a centralised, college-wise merit list.
The official merit list for the stray vacancy round is scheduled to be released on November 14, 2026. Once the list is published, students whose names appear on it must prepare for the next stage of the admission process. This involves physical reporting and attendance verification at their respective allotted colleges, which is slated to take place between November 16 and November 17, 2026.
Only those candidates who have successfully registered and are NEET UG qualified are eligible to participate in this stray round. The process is specifically designed to fill remaining vacancies in Ayush courses across Madhya Pradesh. During the physical reporting phase, students must ensure they carry all necessary documentation required by their designated institutions to complete the verification and admission formalities.
Candidates are encouraged to monitor the official website regularly for any updates or changes to the schedule. By adhering to the provided timeline, applicants can ensure their participation in the final stages of the MP Ayush undergraduate counselling process.
