The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to close its online correction window for the List of Candidates (LOC) for the 2027 board examinations today, November 7, 2026. This deadline marks the final opportunity for affiliated schools to rectify any discrepancies in the data submitted for students appearing in the upcoming Class 10 and Class 12 board exams.

School administrators are required to complete all necessary edits and ensure that student details, including subject combinations, are accurate before the portal shuts down at midnight. The board has emphasised that this is the final window for such updates, and no further extensions or offline requests will be entertained once the deadline has passed.

Guidelines for School Authorities

It is important to note that the correction process is restricted exclusively to school authorities. Students and parents do not have direct access to the CBSE portal and cannot log in to make changes themselves. If a student or parent identifies an error in their registration details, they must contact their respective school administration immediately to ensure the necessary corrections are processed before the end of the day.

To perform the required updates, school principals and heads of institutions must log in to the official CBSE examination portal at cbse.gov.in using their registered school credentials. Once logged in, they should navigate to the section designated for the List of Candidates for the 2026-27 academic session. After identifying and correcting any discrepancies, authorities must verify the information and lock the data to finalise the submission. The board has urged schools to double-check all entries to avoid any complications during the examination process.
