Kalyani University was founded in 1960 and is situated in Nadia District, West Bengal. The university oversees 64 affiliated colleges, all of which provide degrees under the CBCS (Choice-Based Credit System). It has 30 affiliated colleges in Nadia, 33 in Murshidabad district, and 1 in the North Pargana region. Recognized by the UGC and AIU, Kalyani University holds a NAAC 'A' Grade accreditation.
