Founded in 1935, Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET) is a government institution situated in Aligarh. ZHCET is affiliated with Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). In 2021, the institute was ranked 23rd for Government Engineering by Media. It comprises 11 departments, including Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, Architecture, Computer Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and more, offering over 20 courses in Engineering, Science, and Architecture disciplines.
