The Bar Council of India (BCI) has officially commenced the registration process for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 22. Candidates aspiring to appear for the upcoming examination are required to complete their application forms through the official BCI portal at allindiabarexamination.com. The registration window, which opened on August 19, is scheduled to close on October 27, 2026.
To initiate the application process, candidates must possess a valid email address and an active mobile number. These details are essential for creating a unique login, which serves as the gateway for filling out the application form. With the examination date confirmed for November 29, 2026, applicants are encouraged to complete their submissions accurately and well before the deadline to avoid any last-minute technical complications.
A critical component of the AIBE 22 application involves the submission of a passport-sized photograph and a digital signature. The BCI has provided specific technical parameters to ensure that these files are processed correctly within the application system. For the photograph, candidates must ensure the image dimensions are set to 200 pixels in height and 150 pixels in width. Similarly, the signature must be uploaded with dimensions of 100 pixels in height and 150 pixels in width.
Beyond the photograph and signature, candidates are required to upload various academic and professional certificates. These documents must be submitted in either JPEG, JPG, or PDF formats. It is mandatory that each file does not exceed the size limit of 600 KB. If a document exceeds this size, applicants are advised to scan and compress the file to meet the prescribed requirements before attempting the upload. The BCI recommends that candidates verify these specifications during their initial attempt to ensure a smooth application experience and to prevent potential issues during the verification stage.
