The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, is set to conduct the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) 2026 on November 1. As the examination date approaches, candidates are advised to thoroughly review all official guidelines, including reporting times, centre-specific details, and mandatory documentation, to ensure a seamless experience at their respective test locations.
The admit cards for the examination were officially released on October 26, 2026. Candidates are required to access the official website at aiimsexams.ac.in using their secure login credentials to download their hall tickets. It is essential for students to verify that all personal details, the assigned examination centre address, and the designated reporting time are accurate on their printed documents.
To facilitate a smooth entry process, candidates must present specific documents at the examination centre. The primary requirement is a clear, printed copy of the INI CET January 2027 admit card. It is crucial that any required declarations on the hall ticket are completed and signed by the candidate prior to arrival. Digital copies of the admit card displayed on mobile devices will not be accepted by examination authorities.
In addition to the hall ticket, candidates must carry an original, valid government-issued identity document for verification purposes. Upon arrival, students are expected to cooperate fully with examination staff during security frisking, identity verification, and any biometric or iris scanning procedures that may be in place. Candidates are reminded that entry into the examination hall will be strictly prohibited after the specified closing time, making it vital to plan travel arrangements in advance to account for potential traffic or security delays.
Maintaining the integrity of the examination environment is a priority for AIIMS. Consequently, a strict policy regarding prohibited items is in effect. Candidates are strictly forbidden from bringing electronic devices into the examination hall, including mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth-enabled gadgets, and calculators. Furthermore, personal study materials, such as books, notes, or unauthorized stationery, are not permitted inside the testing area.
Candidates should consult their admit cards for a comprehensive list of restricted items to avoid complications during the security screening process. By adhering to these regulations and arriving at the correct venue with the necessary documentation, candidates can ensure they remain focused on the examination. The INI CET serves as the gateway for admission into various postgraduate medical programmes, including MD, MS, MDS, and specific DM and MCh courses across participating Institutes of National Importance.
