The National Law University (NLU) Delhi has officially commenced the registration process for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2027. Prospective students seeking admission into the university's BA LLB and LLM programmes are encouraged to complete their applications through the official website, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in, well ahead of the deadline.

As NLU Delhi does not accept scores from the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), the AILET remains the sole gateway for students aiming to secure a seat in these law programmes. Given the high volume of applications received annually, officials have advised candidates to exercise caution and thoroughly verify all information before finalizing their submissions to prevent complications during the document verification stage.

Key Dates and Application Details for AILET 2027

The application window for AILET 2027 is scheduled to close on November 10, 2026. Following the conclusion of the registration period, the university will open an application correction window in mid-November 2026, allowing candidates to rectify specific details if necessary. The admit cards for the entrance examination are slated for release on November 30, 2026, leading up to the final examination date on December 13, 2026.

Regarding the financial requirements for the application, candidates belonging to the General, OBC, EWS, and Foreign National categories are required to pay a registration fee of INR 3000. For candidates falling under the SC, ST, and PwD categories, the application fee is set at INR 1000. All payments must be processed via the online portal, and applicants should note that once the fee is paid, it is non-refundable. To ensure a smooth process, students are encouraged to complete their registration early to avoid potential technical issues that may arise during the final days of the application period.
