AIMA MAT 2026 September Session Results Expected in October

Candidates who participated in the September 2026 session of the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) are awaiting the release of their scorecards. While the All India Management Association (AIMA) has not yet confirmed an official date for the declaration of results, industry trends suggest that scorecards are likely to be made available by the first week of October 2026.

The September testing phase concluded with the Paper Based Test (PBT) held on September 13 and the Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted on September 20. Typically, AIMA processes and uploads results to the candidate dashboard within approximately two weeks following the conclusion of the examination. Rather than issuing a public notification, the testing body generally communicates the availability of results directly to candidates via email.

Accessing MAT Results and Next Steps

Once the results are officially released, candidates will be required to log in to their accounts on the AIMA portal to download their scorecards. It is important to note that for students who have appeared in multiple sessions of the MAT, the option to utilize their best score for admission purposes remains available. AIMA facilitates the admission process by automatically forwarding the latest scores to the five business schools originally selected by the candidate during the initial application process.

The MAT score is currently recognized by more than 700 MBA institutions across India. Following the release of results, candidates who meet the specific cut-off percentiles set by their chosen B-schools will be eligible to proceed to the next stages of the admission cycle, which typically include Personal Interviews (PI). As the current cycle concludes, preparations for the upcoming phase are already underway, with registration for the December 2026 MAT exams expected to commence in the first week of October 2026.
