The University of Allahabad has officially commenced its online admissions for undergraduate programs for the academic year 2026. Prospective students can register through the Samarth Admission Portal for a variety of courses, including 12 four-year undergraduate programs, one integrated B.A.-B.Ed. course, and six five-year programs. This initiative aims to streamline the admission process and provide a user-friendly experience for applicants.

As part of the admission process, candidates are required to complete the counselling registration, which is also facilitated through the Samarth Admission Portal. The registration fee is set at INR 300 for candidates belonging to the Unreserved (UR), OBC, and EWS categories, while those from SC, ST, and PwD categories will pay a reduced fee of INR 150. It is important to note that this fee is non-refundable, emphasizing the need for candidates to ensure their eligibility before proceeding.

The university plans to release its first cutoff list for various undergraduate programs on its official admissions webpage. Most admissions will be determined based on scores from the CUET UG 2026 examination, while entry into the B.A.-B.Ed. integrated program will rely on scores from the NCET 2026. Applicants for the B.A.-B.Ed. program must register separately and are required to upload essential documents, including their CUET UG admit card, scorecard, Class 10 and 12 marksheets, as well as passport-sized photographs and signatures in JPEG format.

Applicants have the flexibility to apply for one or multiple programs, but they must adhere to specific guidelines set by the university. Only those candidates who complete their registration, update their profiles, and pay the requisite fees after selecting their desired programs will be eligible for counselling. It is crucial for candidates to ensure that their personal details, such as name, parents’ names, and date of birth, match exactly with their Class 10 certificate to avoid complications during the verification process.

Additionally, the university mandates that all candidates possess an Aadhaar and APAAR ID for the application process. Shortlisted candidates are advised to deposit their admission fees within the stipulated deadlines to secure their places in the chosen programs. The University of Allahabad continues to provide updates and guidance to ensure a smooth admission experience for all applicants.
