DU CSAS UG 2026 Admission: Applications for Spot Round 1 Now Available for 13,433 Open Seats

The University of Delhi has announced the availability of 13,433 vacant seats across 67 colleges for the CSAS UG 2026 Spot Round 1. Candidates interested in securing admission through this round can complete their applications today via the official admission website. The list of vacant seats for the CSAS UG 2026-27 Spot Round 1 has been published on the university's admission portal, allowing eligible candidates to select their preferred programme-college combinations.

The deadline for applying for the DU CSAS UG Spot Round 1 is set for August 24, 2026, at 11:59 PM. According to the vacant seat list, the distribution of available seats is categorized as follows: 2,113 seats for the General category, 4,133 for OBC-NCL, 2,038 for SC, 2,476 for ST, 1,791 for EWS, 316 for Christian applicants, and 566 for Sikh applicants. It is important to note that the number of vacant seats was calculated as of August 23, 2026, at 1:00 PM, and may fluctuate due to withdrawals, cancellations, and grievance redressal processes.

The university has emphasized that withdrawals will be suspended during the Spot Round. Only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria set by the university can participate. To qualify, candidates must be registered under CSAS UG 2026 and should not have accepted an admission offer on or after August 22, 2026. Those wishing to apply for spot admission must select the 'Spot Admission' option on their CSAS dashboard and can only choose from available programme-college combinations relevant to their category.

A PDF containing the available seats and programme-college combinations will be displayed, which candidates can download for future reference. It is crucial for candidates to carefully select their preferences, as accepting an allocated seat in Spot Round 1 will be mandatory, and they will not be permitted to upgrade or withdraw their acceptance afterward.

Looking ahead, registration for the CUET UG 2027 is expected to begin in the first week of January. Candidates will be able to fill out the online application form on the official website. It is essential for students to review the eligibility criteria for the CUET 2027 exam and familiarize themselves with the syllabus and exam pattern. The CUET will consist of a total of 250 marks for each subject, with candidates allowed to choose up to five subjects, each containing 50 questions.
