The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has officially commenced the web option entry process for the first phase of AP ICET 2026 counselling. Candidates who have successfully completed the registration, processing fee payment, and certificate verification stages are now eligible to log in to the official portal at cap.apcfss.in to select their preferred MBA and MCA programmes.
This phase of the counselling process allows students to designate their choice of colleges and courses under the Convenor quota. With a wide range of institutions participating in the admission process across the state, candidates are encouraged to carefully review their options to ensure their preferences are accurately recorded before the system closes.
The window for submitting and prioritizing college and course preferences will remain open until September 2, 2026. During this period, applicants are advised to thoroughly research the seat intake capacities and fee structures for the various MBA and MCA programmes available. There are currently 344 participating institutes involved in the process, distributed across the Sri Venkateswara University region with 131 institutes, the Andhra University region with 204 institutes, and the Statewide region with 9 institutes.
To maximize the likelihood of securing a seat, officials recommend that candidates exercise as many options as possible. While the primary window for selection ends on September 2, the council has provided a specific provision for final adjustments. Candidates will be permitted to modify their choices on September 3, 2026. It is important to note that once this final window concludes, all exercised options will be automatically frozen at 10:00 PM, and no further changes will be permitted.
Candidates should exercise caution when finalizing their selections. If a student chooses to manually freeze their options before the deadline, they will be unable to modify those choices during the regular window. Therefore, it is essential to be certain of the priority list before confirming the submission. By following the guidelines provided on the official APSCHE portal, students can navigate the web option entry process systematically to secure their preferred placement in university or private colleges across Andhra Pradesh.
