AP ICET 2026: Web Option Entry for MBA and MCA Admissions Begins Today

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has announced that the web option entry process for AP ICET 2026 admissions will commence today at 6:00 PM. Candidates seeking admission into MBA and MCA programmes across the state can now begin selecting their preferred institutions and courses through the official counselling portal at cap.apcfss.in.

This phase of the counselling process is open exclusively to those who have already completed the mandatory online registration, paid the processing fee, and successfully finished their document verification. With the portal set to go live this evening, applicants are encouraged to review the available seat intake and fee structures for the various participating colleges before finalising their choices.

Important Dates and Selection Guidelines

The window for exercising web options will remain accessible to candidates until September 2, 2026. APSCHE has advised applicants to select as many options as possible to increase their chances of securing a seat in their preferred programmes. There are currently 344 participating institutes across Andhra Pradesh, offering a combined total of 329 MBA courses and 178 MCA courses, including various specialisations.

Following the initial submission period, the authorities have scheduled a window for candidates to modify their selected options on September 3, 2026. It is important to note that all exercised options will be automatically frozen at 10:00 PM on that day. Candidates should ensure all their preferences are correctly entered and saved within the stipulated timeframe to participate in the seat allotment process.
