The Dr NTR University of Health Sciences has officially reopened the registration window for Andhra Pradesh NEET UG counselling for the 2026 academic session. This development provides a fresh opportunity for eligible candidates who have qualified for the NEET UG examination to participate in the admission process for MBBS and BDS courses under both the Competent Authority Quota and the Management Quota.
Candidates looking to secure a seat in medical and dental colleges across the state are encouraged to complete their applications promptly. The university has specified that the window for submitting applications without incurring a late fee will remain open until September 6, 2026. Applicants must ensure their registration and document uploads are finalized by 9 PM on that date to avoid additional charges.
The entire registration process for the AP NEET UG 2026 counselling is conducted exclusively through the official university portal at drntr.uhsap.in. To initiate the process, students must navigate to the designated counselling link on the website, provide the required personal and academic details, and ensure all mandatory documents are uploaded correctly. Upon successful registration, candidates will receive a User ID on their registered mobile number, which should be kept secure for future reference.
For those who are unable to meet the initial September 6 deadline, the university has provided a secondary window for registration with a late fee. This late registration period is scheduled to commence at 9 AM on September 7, 2026, and will conclude at 9 PM on the same day. Candidates opting for this window will be required to pay an additional fee of INR 20,000 on top of the standard application and processing fees. Given the time-sensitive nature of the admission process, officials have advised students to complete their submissions as early as possible to ensure a smooth application experience.
