Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has officially released the seat allotment results for the Special Round 2 of the UPTAC 2026 counselling process. Candidates who participated in this round can now access their allotment status by logging into the official counselling portal at uptac.samarth.edu.in.
The seat allotment outcome is determined by a combination of the candidate's merit, the preferences they submitted during the choice-filling phase, and the availability of seats. This special round was specifically organised to address vacancies that remained following the conclusion of the regular counselling sessions and the internal sliding process.
To view their results, candidates are required to log in to the UPTAC portal using their registered credentials. Once logged in, students can download their allotment letters, which provide specific details regarding the institute and the course they have been assigned. It is essential for candidates to review these documents thoroughly to understand the specific requirements for their allotted seat.
Following the release of the results, the university has established a strict timeline for the next phase of the admission process. Candidates who have been successfully allotted a seat are required to report in person to their respective institutions. This physical reporting window is scheduled to take place from September 3 to September 7, 2026.
During the physical reporting process, students must present all necessary original documents for verification. The university has emphasised that failing to report to the allotted institute or neglecting to complete the mandatory admission formalities within the stipulated deadline could result in the forfeiture of the seat. Consequently, candidates are encouraged to verify all reporting instructions provided on the official website to ensure a smooth transition into their new academic programme.
