The Dr Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao University of Health Sciences (Dr NTRUHS), Vijayawada, has officially commenced the web option entry process for the Phase 3 Mop-Up round of AP NEET UG Counselling 2026. This phase is intended to fill vacant MBBS seats under the Competent Authority Quota for the 2026-27 academic session.
Candidates who are eligible to participate in this round can now log in to the official portal at drntr.uhsap.in to submit their preferred medical colleges. The university has set a strict deadline for this process, with the web option entry window scheduled to close on October 16, 2026, at 3 PM.
The university has outlined specific criteria for candidates wishing to participate in the Mop-Up round. Those who did not secure a seat in the first or second phases, as well as eligible candidates who did not previously submit web options, are permitted to take part. Additionally, students who have already joined a college in earlier phases may exercise options for the purpose of sliding or upgrading to a preferred institution based on merit.
Candidates who were allotted seats in previous rounds but failed to report to their assigned colleges are also eligible, with the exception of the specific college they did not join. It is important to note that the university has explicitly excluded candidates who are currently holding an All India Quota (AIQ) seat up to Round 3 from participating in this or any subsequent phases of the Competent Authority Quota counselling.
To participate, candidates must first log in to the AP NEET UG counselling portal using their credentials. After reviewing the list of available MBBS colleges, they may select their preferences in order of priority. The process requires an OTP verification sent to the candidate's registered mobile number and email address. Once submitted, the choices are considered final, and the university will not entertain requests for changes after the deadline.
A mandatory requirement for this round is the payment of a refundable security deposit of INR 50,000, which must be completed online before exercising web options. The university has clarified that this deposit will be refunded following the conclusion of the admission process, provided the candidate joins the allotted seat or does not receive an allotment. However, the deposit is subject to forfeiture if a candidate fails to join an allotted seat or if their admission is cancelled due to the submission of incorrect information or failure to provide necessary documentation.
