APSCHE to Announce AP ICET 2026 Second Phase Counselling Schedule Soon

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) is expected to release the official schedule for the second phase of AP ICET 2026 counselling in the coming days. Candidates who are seeking admission into MBA and MCA programmes across the state and did not secure a seat in the initial round are advised to monitor the official website for updates regarding registration and document verification.

The upcoming second phase of the counselling process will be conducted to fill the seats that remained vacant following the conclusion of the first round. The first phase of the admission process concluded recently, with the results being declared on September 9, 2026, and the subsequent self-reporting and college reporting window closing on September 14, 2026.

Details of the Second Phase Counselling Process

The second round of counselling is critical for students who were not allotted a seat in their preferred institutions during the first phase. According to the data regarding seat availability, a significant number of positions remain open for the second round. Out of a total of 46,464 seats available for MBA and MCA courses, 8,059 seats were filled during the first phase, leaving a substantial number of vacancies to be addressed in the next stage of the admission process.

For the MBA programme, there were 29,762 total seats, with 5,306 allotted in the first phase. Similarly, the MCA programme saw 2,753 seats filled out of a total capacity of 16,702. The second phase will focus on allocating these remaining seats based on candidate preferences and merit.

Expected Counselling Events and Procedures

Once the official notification is released by APSCHE, the counselling process will follow a structured timeline similar to the first phase. Candidates will be required to participate in several key events, including online registration and fee payment, followed by the online verification of certificates. Once the documents are verified, participants will be granted access to the web options entry window, where they can select their preferred colleges from the list of institutions with remaining vacancies.

The process will also include a window for option modification, allowing students to adjust their choices before the final seat allotment results are published. Following the announcement of the allotment results, candidates will be required to complete the physical reporting process at their respective allotted colleges to confirm their admission.
