BHU Opens Registration for BVSc & AH Admissions 2026 via NEET UG

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has officially launched the admission process for its Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) program for the 2026-27 academic year. Prospective students seeking admission to this professional course are required to submit their applications based on their performance in the NEET UG 2026 examination.

The university has opened the online registration window, inviting eligible candidates to apply through the official BHU admission portal at bhu.ac.in. As the selection process is strictly merit-based, relying on national-level entrance scores, applicants must ensure their details are accurately submitted before the designated deadline.

Application Deadlines and Counselling Schedule

The university has set a firm deadline for the registration process, requiring all interested candidates to complete their online application forms by 11:59 PM on September 20, 2026. Following the conclusion of this window, the university will transition into the verification and processing phase to determine candidate eligibility for the available seats.

Once the initial processing is complete, BHU will begin the seat allotment process through a series of counselling rounds. The first seat allotment result is scheduled for release on September 28, 2026. This will be followed by a second round of allocations, which is expected to be published on October 1, 2026. The university has also outlined a third round of seat allotments, slated for release on October 5, 2026.
