Bihar Board 10th and 12th Examinations 2027: Application Period Opens Today; Review Deadline and Official Websites

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially commenced the application process for the Class 10 and 12 exams scheduled for 2027. Starting today, August 25, 2026, students can submit their exam forms through their respective schools and colleges. The deadline for completing the application and paying the associated fees is set for September 16, 2026, providing students with ample time to prepare their submissions.

To facilitate the application process, BSEB has outlined specific procedures for students. The heads of schools and colleges will be responsible for filling out the exam forms online. Students are encouraged to visit their institutions to provide the necessary information required for the application. For the Intermediate exams, the forms can be accessed at intermediate.biharboardonline.com, while the Matric exam forms are available at exam.biharboardonline.org.

In recent years, the BSEB has gained a reputation for its rigorous examination standards, often regarded as one of the most challenging boards in India. The syllabus for the Class 10 exams encompasses critical chapters and topics, ensuring that students who thoroughly cover the material have a strong chance of achieving high marks. Historically, students who complete the Class 12 syllabus before the final examinations have been able to secure scores above 80 percent, with many achieving even higher.

In the previous academic year, approximately 28.3 lakh students participated in the BSEB Class 10 and 12 exams. For the upcoming 2027 examinations, the board anticipates a similar turnout, with expectations that more than 28 lakh students will complete the application process. Achieving a score above 75 percent in the Class 12 exams is generally viewed as commendable, while those who exceed 90 percent are often recognized as top performers.
