CAT 2026: Fee Payment Deadline Set for Today at 5 PM

Candidates who have already initiated their application process for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026 are reminded that today, September 24, is the final deadline to complete their fee payment. This window is specifically for those who successfully submitted their application forms before the registration period concluded.

IIM Indore, the conducting body for this year's examination, had previously extended the payment deadline from September 22 to today. Applicants are required to finalize their transactions through the official CAT website, iimcat.ac.in, before the cutoff time of 5 PM. Failure to complete the payment by this time may result in the application being considered incomplete.

Payment Details and Category-Wise Fees

The examination fee structure for CAT 2026 is determined by the candidate's category. For candidates belonging to the General, EWS, and NC-OBC categories, the registration fee is set at INR 2,700. Meanwhile, candidates falling under the SC, ST, and PwD categories are required to pay a reduced fee of INR 1,350. It is important to note that these fees are non-refundable once the transaction is processed.

To complete the payment, candidates must log in to the official portal using their credentials. The system supports various digital payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, UPI, and e-wallets. Once the payment is successful, candidates are strongly advised to download and retain a copy of their completed application form and the payment confirmation receipt for future reference.

Following the conclusion of the payment process, IIM Indore is expected to open a correction window, allowing candidates to rectify specific details in their submitted forms.
